jStock is an inventory control / point of sale software designed specifically for the retail industry. It is designed to run on an ordinary Windows PC with a receipt printer. You need no special hardware for it. jStock includes cash sales, credit notes, invoicing, orders, quotes, purchase orders all from within the same screen. With jStock your inventory can be organized into categories and sub-categories and you can also have serialized items. jStock can automatically create barcodes for your products which you can then print on a barcode printer. You can keep detailed information about your clients and suppliers. You can have different types of clients and have a selling price for each type. You can work by percentage profits or by fixed selling prices. jStock comes ready with a built-in accounting module. You have ledger accounts and other built-in accounting functionality. While you are doing a sale you have your ledger being updated in real-time. At the end of the year you have less work to do when it comes to accounting!! jStock is network ready, multi-user and has built-in menu level security.
