Adds numerous everyday macros (copy & paste, database/list, format cells, matches, miscellaneous, navigation, rows & columns, word manipulation) run by keyboard shortcuts for the convenience and speed of the user. Create and update spreadsheets faster. The full version provides over a hundred actions; the free version provides about a third of the total. You can customise some actions. To run a Vbmotif action: first select, then keystroke; just as in standard Excel. Preset alternatives: some preset keystrokes are overlaid, because there are good alternatives. They are overlaid because in the main there are equally handy preset alternatives that come with standard Excel, which are listed at the foot of the quick reference web page. For example, b for bold, i for italic, u for underline. Keyboard patterns: there is a logic to the keystrokes and the letters, so as to make them easier to remember and run. Shared keystrokes: the shared keystrokes feature lends Vbmotif versatility in range of actions with keyboard letters; many keystrokes perform more than one action; the action is determined by what is selected. For example, Ctrl+P performs three separate actions, depending on what is selected: if an area is selected, print selection; if a row or column is selected, copy the row height or column width; if a single cell is selected, copy the sheet. Moreover, if the single cell is in an odd numbered row, copy the sheet before the active sheet; while if the single cell is in an even numbered row, copy the sheet after the active sheet. Other popular actions: alter cells to text, close with save, close without save, date cells, delete rows, delete sheets, display difference, display value, go to back sheet, go to call sheet, go to cell sheet, match cells, match echo, match formats, match heights or widths, match view, redo action, rename sheet, round cells, swap cells, and word to next cell.
